I have broad research interests in areas like Computational Fluid Dynamics, Combustion, Sub Cooled Flow Boiling and Boiler Design. At Thermax, I completed following two important projects on Combustion and Sub Cooled Flow Boiling modeling, after which I used respective models in actual boiler modeling.

    1.  Set model for sub-cooled flow boiling in vertical tube after a comprehensive literature review. Model was tested successfully with experimental results published in literature and also with circulation design program of Babcock and Wilcox.

    2. Comparison of the CFX results with piloted methane flame case provided by Sandia lab. Compared distribution of temperature, NOx, CO and flame length with experimental data.
